The Tiberiade Brothers are a Roman Catholic fraternity that lives according to the Franciscan tradition, focusing on prayer, contemplation, and service. They organize spiritual retreats and host visitors who seek peace, reflection, and a closer connection to their faith. The communitys lifestyle and the serene environment of Baltriškės make it a unique place for spiritual renewal and retreat. The Tiberias community is a monastery for men and women, founded in 1979 in the village of Lavaux-Sainte-Anne, in southern Belgium, by Brother Morkus. Tiberias communities are also located in Lithuania (in the village of Baltriškės, Zarasai district) and in Congo. Over the years, the brothers gradually established themselves in the village of Baltriškės, Zarasai district. Since 2001, the brothers have come to live permanently in Lithuania. Today, 7 brothers live in this small brotherhood. In Baltriškės, the St. Casimir Church was built in 1920. In 2009-2011, through the efforts of the monks, the church was renovated, and a pillared bell tower was built, into which three bells were installed. Every Sunday, at 11 a.m., Holy Mass is celebrated in St. Casimirs Church. We invite you to come.
